Workshops

Within this feature, there will be three different Workshop areas. Each area will have a continuous timetable of 20 minute Workshops taking place:

  1. Visit a Workshop with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and we guarantee that you will leave 20 minutes later with a better understanding of wine and how to taste and enjoy it.
  2. Meet the Experts - there is an infectious passion that winemakers and wine experts have about wine - attend one of their Workshops to share their enthusiasm and even taste some special back vintage wines.
  3. Whatever style of wine you like, we think you will find a Finest* Workshop to meet your tastes. The Tesco wine team are very proud of their Finest* wines and have picked a selection to show you in these Workshops.

A timetable of Workshops will be put on the website nearer the Fairs. Attending a Workshop is free, and you will be able to sign up upon entry to the Fair.

Food
To help you make the most of your tasting opportunity at the Fair, there is a café which will be open for snacks, hot and cold drinks during each session. Please taste responsibly and stop to have something to eat.

Edinburgh Map

By Road:

The Edinburgh Corn Exchange is situated approximately 3.6 kilometres (2 miles) to the south west of Edinburgh city centre, within the moat area of the capital.

The Corn Exchange sits to the south of Gorgie Road (A71) and north of Slateford Road (A70) two of the main arterial routes into the city.

More precisely the site is situated to the west of Chesser Avenue benefiting from roadside frontage on three sides: New Mart Road (north), New Market Road (east) and Cattle Road (west). Access to the site may be taken from either New Mart or New Market Road.

By Public Transport:

Edinburgh has excellent public transport and the Corn Exchange benefits greatly from several bus and train routes. Lothian Region Transport runs a number 35 which stops outside the Corn Exchange and Slateford Train Station (on the Glasgow central line) is a two minute walk from the venue.
